[QUESTION] Death Aura's damage

I was thinking about doing a Death Aura build after noticing the keystone "Iron Will" that makes it so the boost of damage that comes to strength applies aswell to spells, yet despite being treated as "spell" and having the label of spell, the damage boost does not apply to it.

Question is: Why? It's because it's an aura or because it's something autotriggered?

Spell damage doesn't apply to damage over time unless stated explicitly on the ability. I'd suggest reading the wiki for Death Aura as it specifically lists modifiers that apply and that will make planning around it way easier as the list is somewhat limited.

Then they should change it so it has another name, it's a bit "kewk" saying "You're boosting spell damage, but not for this one" xD

Anyway, there are ways to mitigate that, so NP xD
