Bane of Legends Impale immunity not working

Every time I get 3 stacks of impale from a big mob I die, I have never died to anything else.

Either it is bugged or the Wikis have wrong information. Bane of Legends supposedly immunizes you but I am sure they accidentally removed the immunity completely when they removed it from Ruthless
