Reflecting mist outcome not shown with hinekora lock applied

I have a ring that I've used a hinekora's lock on. When I hover the ring with a reflecting mist, a short red animation plays on the ring but nothing changes to show the reflecting mist outcome.

If I hover a chaos, vaal or other orb the outcome shows correctly. I'm not sure why the reflecting mist isn't working.

Nevermind, my item is influenced. I just realized you can't use reflecting mists on influenced items. Not sure how to delete this post.
