Blight tower spawning inside Ore nodes bugging them out

Basically title, this isn't the first time it has happens but once every 50ish maps the blight tower will spawn inside an Ore node. The mobs will be unable to path or be damaged. This makes it so there is no way to end the encounter. If the mobs can't be made to spawn outside of a potential blocking terrain, or the ore can't be made to spawn outside of where blight towers will spawn. I'd suggest adding either: Suggestion 1 a timer to end the blight after a prolong time (say 7 mins) - either by 'overheating the main pump and it blows up' - or 'successfully fending off the waves' Pros, ends the encounter to get loot for those willing to wait and makes it so its not a 'new strategy' since the timer is long enough to not be worth waiting for. Lets the player get some drops back from their scarab/map investment. Cons, doesn't solve the root of the issue, people will still be frustrated having to wait it out. Suggestion 2 After 1 lane has been depleted and a path is grey or after a time, give Cassia an option to end the encounter - Could end it as successfully defended the pump and drop the loot accumulated thus far + winner chest or could end it as failure for ending early with no winner chest Pros, ends the encounter and the player wont have to wait it out. Good for getting some drops back. Could also add interesting play where you stall out a hard lane and kill the easy one to then end it as a success (assuming the success is what happens). Cons, also doesn't solve the root of the issue. Players able to full clear would still be a bit frustrated. Depending on implementation, players might accidently end their encounters early (could have it be a /endblight command instead of talking to Cassia which would solve for this) Last bumped on Nov 20, 2025, 11:38:06 PM
