Life Flasks/Leech not working [Bug Report ID: #1 831 808 689]

Starts of with Life Total SOMETIMES getting a lower and lower fixed maximum (->spending Life on casts), CAN get fixed after taking HIT damage to life.

also, randomly taking invisible hits, but I was too lazy to grab a screen recording and saw someone posted about it already, although that seems to be shader/cache issues, so I assume it's either in that category or like the life flask/leech its lag issues, but my ping at least seems consistently low when it's happening.

The Life thing seems like a desync issue, which I've generally seen in relation to RF (no idea about Vaal RF). Lag sounds like a very reasonable explanation.

You're actually at Full Life, so your Life isn't recovering more. While the Client knows your Life isn't changing, it isn't correct about where your Life currently is. It will update properly when something tries to chaange your Life instantly, rather than over time.

Your Life Flask can be used at Full Life due to its suffix. When you're using it, because you're at Full Life, the recovery effect immediately expires; you're only getting the check for Bleeding/Corrupted Blood to remove.

And, as you say, taking a hit will force it to update.

Since I haven't see this in a while myself, could you test if the /oos chat command forces your Life to update when it's desync'd like this?
Unfortunately /oos doesn't update the Life itself and also doesn't enable the Life Flask to visually get me to full life and I only have time a bit later to map until I encounter the starting to get randomly hit by nothing to test /oos, to see if it makes a difference.

Just to make sure I'll also grab a flask with prefix only to check I guess?
Sorry to hear that /oos isn't any help.

You could also compare to a flask with instant recovery. Most prefixes, or a white rarity flask, shouldn't be usable in these circumstances; a flask with a prefix giving any instant recovery should update the displayed Life iirc.

If you can get into a situation like this safely with the pantheon forr generating Life Flask charges if you haven't used one recently, a Life Flask bought from the Act 1 vendor should be able to roll any of the 3 prefixes for instant recovery (modifier levels of 3, 7, 8 for the lowest tiers of each), while recovering very little compared to what you're missing.
I tried it with a reduced amount recovered/half applied instantly and it didn't drink/recover and I also couldn't reproduce the invisible hits so I guess those really were some desync issues.

Annoying but not really gamebreaking, I'll make my peace with it, have a good one :)
