Please tune down and rework this lottery drop system
|
Please add more specific drop system location.
Having 90% of the immense item database drop from everything is very bad and makes all content not really cool to engage. Im a player that got a hinekora lock at level 83 first char in the league, this should not happen. But beside that i feel like this game is just a lottery. It would be nice to have places where you "focus" to farm some things, yes there are some, but not remotely enough for me, and you have a lot of content you can do this, so please think about it. And as a result being forced to play certain unfun content just because it drops those few things that you might want?
Want to have a chance of finding a Headhunter? Sorry but it can only drop in Hidden Grotto bud, gl! No thanks. I'll happily have a chance to get smth really cool wherever I'm farming (e.g. I got my own Hinekora's from King in the Mists). |

Actually specific content is more valuable than casual drop.
Not all, but as a rule if X drops only from Y, then X sells for something. Divine cards are also good thing that separates the maps in POE1. But not really. And each extra content is its own thing. I am trying to say that even now, all that matters is pretty much not at random locations. And this only gets more visible with each patch. |

" im not sure i follow you here. What is that matters that is not at a random location when i can just blast maps get divs to drop which i can then buy whatever i want? see how stupid this system is? I dropped an hinekora from a random mob doing a map, that funded my 7 chars i played this league. This is beyond bad design. We need in my opinion a more stream lined control over what drops and where. Giving player this lottery currency system where you can access anything in game by buying it, instantly removes the need of doing the content. Why would i run Arbiter if most of the times it does not drop anything but if i sell the 3 fragments required to do Arbiter gives me instantly 5 divs? what is the sense in this? please explain. |

I cannot explain it to you.
You consider that random drop of hinekora is enough for you, because you can get some mediocre gear on your 7 characters. I consider that a mirror is not enough for one of my characters, and I want more. The gap between our understandings and our aims in this game do not match. Not even slightly. |
|
" my mediocre gear on 7 characters made me clear whole game t15/t16 juiced with 150 deli included on all chars, so i have no clue what you are blabbering about. It looks like you just mashed the keyboard forgetting to connect your neurons. That also has nothing to do with the fact that this game has no real explanation for having currency drop from anything letting you buy any kind of gear/fragments/currency in game, making content like arbiter losing meaning of completion. If you dont see a design issue here i can not help you. go back to basic 1+1 = 2 and start building up from there, you will get it dont worry, dont give up on your brain, is a stellar machine. |
