The loot nerfs are killing the game

Last league we had multiple endgame strategies and everyone seemed to enjoy them.
Not only were they all nerfed, but then you nerfed map rarity and quant on top of it. Don't you guys think the reason Mercenaries was such a big uptick was because we didn't have a PoE 1 league for almost an year? You are all focusing so hard on how it was "better" because of "loot" but the explanation is likely much more simpler.

No. Really, no loot, is the explanation. Maps are dry as they can be, and the farming strategies are terrible. Trust me on this. My farming strategy was to loot ilvl86 bases and uniques that give at least 20k dust. No currency, no exotic drops, no maps, no delirium, no lifeforce. I cannot drop a single unique that gives 10k dust. I only drop one or two uniques that give like 2k dust, some maps no uniques at all and no bases. Bases man, not even bases drop like ilvl86 or 85 warlock gloves.
I like standard.

Between the unrewarding league, the baseline loot and the strats being tunneled to very few choices on top of the terrible game performance I'm not coming back until I see 3.28 patch notes first and if they fix or not the massive shaders issue they currently have. Not a very good welcome back I got from this game

One thing is certain; if the core drop pool was a little bit more "exciting", you'd be less dependent on a "good, exciting league mechanic".

the worst is this, as everything is starved currently any halfway decent strat scarab set goes through the roof prcie wise. Peeps without a good amount of c cannot even get off th ground, and it will get worse.
regency is currently at 30c wth, pilfering at 46. thats not S or A tier strat(ok harb is quite good) for this league and still it rises. Soon small guys will be forced to do chaos recipe xD Current Build: Penance Brand
