Loading screen, you know what's up

I'm stuck in a loading screen. Load times are ridiculous. I invited a player to help me kill a boss and i couldn't even load into a map anymore. Now i'm waiting to load to Lioneye's Watch for minutes.
AMD Ryzen 5 4500U with Radeon Graphics (2.38 GHz)
16GB RAM
Loading times are bad overall but the other player joining made me essentially lose the map. Audio seems to come through right away it seems, but the loading screen itself keeps loading.
