Trapped in Abyssal Depths

I managed to become trapped in the Abyssal Depths without a clear means to escape.

On entering the depths, I created a portal by the first Checkpoint. I went on to clear the depths of all monsters. I left the depths via the standard exit, with my portal still by the Checkpoint. While fighting the area boss of the Razed Fields, I died and respawned in the Abyssal Depths next to my portal.

I was completely unable to leave the depths, and any attempts via portal, standard exit, or otherwise, resulted in the following message, "You cannot rejoin this area after dying." I tried both simply logging out and back in, as well as closing the game out completely, starting it back up, and logging back into the server. I still received the, "You cannot rejoin..." message.

I tried the command [ /hideout ], but I received a message telling me I can't warp there from my current location. I tried to use the Trade Market to warp to another player's hideout and then use the Waypoint, but I was similarly informed that I can't warp to another player's hideout unless I'm in a hideout or a town.

The only way I could find to escape was to have a friend log in and create a party with me. Then I was able to warp to her location.
