Distilled Emotion Sink

With distilled emotions no longer being used for waystones, what will we do with all the extras? Since we'll only ever use three at a time when we upgrade our amulets, will they just be worthless now?

Delirium was my favorite. AFAIK, I couldn't get deli mirrors if I instilled my waystone, so I never did it as I always use deli tablets. I would instead upgrade all my emotions and sell them if I didn't need them for my amulet.

I just stumbled across those patch notes today and now I am a little sad that according to the information we have now, they will be used for amulets and nothing else.

Also on that note, what would be the point of having the Deli tab now? Off the top of my head theres no point of holding onto the emotions, my build doesnt use them now so ill just sell the emotions and have a item tabs thats useless now?

I really hope there will be more information on the as more patch notes are released over the coming week like Mark said.

I suspect they have a significant role in the endgame mechanics that didn't make it into 0.4. So the 0.4 answer is probably, "They only do amulets."

they reworked how emotions drop, i would imagine that w/ maps no longer being instillable they probably also nerfed the drop-rate. hopefully not to ritual tablet-tier, because no mention of that in the notes makes me think ritual tablet drops are 100% by design.

maybe they do have something in the works for the future. but who knows when/if they'll get around to it.
