The game just demands to much complex juggling for ideas to work out

My biggest problem with PoE2 at the moment is that there are so many penalties, cooldowns, downsides, and demands—needing charges here and there—just to use the build you have in mind or make it work without spending hundreds of divines.

I don't care about new content if it's tedious to interact with it. All the variety this game has to offer gets buried under complex juggling of multiple skills, auras, and gear interactions, just so I can flicker strike freely and infinitely through my maps.

Also, for normal and newer players, it would be much more rewarding if they could think: "Maybe I go all in on physical attack damage or into any random selected skill—they spec nodes into it, craft the gear for it, and the path actually opens up to be viable." The complex voodoo mechanics should only be necessary if you want to kill uber bosses.

Instead, we first need to convert some charges, and we need to generate other charges first to convert them. Then I need to consume corpses for a damage buff, use Infernal Cry to get even stronger, have 3 auras active, and need Constricting Command so I'm always surrounded to make the build even work. Oh, and there are fusions lying randomly around that I need to pick up to boost the ailment buildup from my skill—and so on. You get the point. So many skills, support gems, tree nodes, and ascendancies I didn't interact with because I need a full-blown guide from start to finish just to play the game on a normal scale through the campaign.

It's hard to make an idea off the top of your head work out, and then you get stuck in Act 2 with Jamanra just to find out that all the work you put into your build isn't the right way to do it and you lack everything. Just go Lightning Arrow and Lightning Rod—safe bet—and don't even try to make another skill work without pouring 100 divs into it.

Just a small rant about the variety the game has to offer. I literally have no fun starting a new character and just trying stuff out because I need a plan from level 1 to 60 to even get through the campaign. Resources are scarce in the campaign, and so is gear, so you don't get a second chance if your build starts to fall off in Act 3.

Open it up and let us explore and roam freely through the game, pls GGG.

so you want to blast through maps while pressing a single button because you cannot cope with skill and resource rotation?
yawn

i don't think it takes 100 div to beat jamanra. i think you messed up somewhere, bud. or to make any normal build work. like, what. if you get stuck you join a party in a lower level area or something. like there's options. it sounds like you just don't want any friction at all because it's simply too much for you to deal with.
Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.

Jamanra's a challenge because it's the first fight in the game that requires you to have sustain. You need damage, defense, and more life and mana than your flasks will give you. Make sure you have damage, defense and sustain, and you'll be fine.
Evasion-only melee character that can kill Ubers with cheap gear (SSF Rise of the Abyssal), no armor, no energy shield, 62k eHP:

POE is to complex for a lot of people, heaven forbid you need to read and test things.... There are other games you can play but dumbing it down isn't gonna happen been this way for over a decade

He wants a normal functional ARPG yes. There's a very distinct reason why literally everyone devolves into the exact build type you stated at endgame.
Dont bother just let it fail.
Boredom shrills are out.
I love it. I like to have complicated planning to do. It's the only game out there that offers that.
