Firestorm feedback

I'm quite surprised to not see any buff on this underwhelming skill.

I tried a few version of that skill, but i could'nt deal any damage unless the boss was huge. It couldn't even one hit white mobs.

Yet, i had to build 9 infusion, (3 fire, 3cold, 3 lightning, and 3 limit firestorm) to finally deal damage. It takes SO much times to build, and get spent so fast.

When there are so many skills that would do 10x the damage for 0 setup, i think firestorm should get more love. It's bad in every way.


And if anyone made it work, i'd like a pob or a showcase, cuz to me, it's not possible. Auto attack melee is straight better in both dps and clear anyway..

You shouldnt be taking any time to build your infusions for firestorm.


Use orb of storms. Shorten its duration as much as possible. Overabundance/Less Duration



Youll want skill effect duration for firestorm and then you just sort of cast orb of storms on spam so you always have infusions. Make sure to let the orb expire to get infusions as well.


From there its just a basic crit/hit build nothing really transformative or crazy about it.

I was using 4 limit orb of storm, but since i scaled some duration in the tree, i had to use Ember fusillade to deplete the orb of storms.

Only time i had damage was going archmage with Firestorm though. And since it dealt so little damage i couldn't push the juice in a state where i could farm currency to go crit. Even tho stormweaver's ascending looked really good to go crit with the elemental tempests and the limits

This skill is a bait even after the damage buff. It has "limit 1 storm", which locks player into spending 4 ascendancy points, of which 2 points are fucking useless (elemental storm lol). Like come on boys, you already introduced "hit limit", another dogshit band-aid btw.

Patch it now @Jonathan_GGG, remove the "limit 1" on Firestorm.

well it's a fire spell so obviously it has to be shit because otherwise the ranger mains might get nervous or something idk these devs are weird man
