Red textures/black screen and game freezing

Experienced moments where my screen would go red my character wouldn't be on screen and I could move camera slightly. Screen went black on Issue 3 and in all instances the game would freeze.

Issue 1 in Hunting Grounds
Issue 2 Freythorn boss arena
Issue 3 "in" new Vaal temple while at The Halani Gates


Character: Druid
Happened while in human and bear form

Note: I have no clue what to say so I'm just giving details. Hope it helps

I’m having the very same issue as well. It happens every 1 to 2 hours. I checked on Reddit. Apparently it’s happening to a lot of console players. Not sure what’s going on, but never experienced this issues before 0.4. Apart from that lovely update just a performance issues are brutal this time around.

This has happened to me a couple of times as well on PS5. The screen is covered in a red texture, the game pauses but menus remain interactive. No rhyme or reason to it, it has happened during skill use, looting and accessing my stash.

Workaround: Hit "Start -> Respawn at last Checkpoint" the game comes back up and things continue but ofc it resets progress.
