Skyseer is overtuned in a way that's unhealthy
|
This is the second season in a row I've been trying to convince friends to play poe2 with me for the free weekend & happened to be streaming my trials of chaos attempts; as per title skyseer just dunks me twice in back to back runs. Friends see what happens with the modifiers & what I have to deal with to even phase him & there's no interest.
there's at least two people that are never going to play this game ever because of skyseer in trials of chaos being a waste of space & time. Planning to outlevel a boss by 10 levels being the standard for play is dogwater design. this has done genuine damage to the game, please don't push this off for another season, this is really unacceptable. Tornado bird is way overtuned. I always pray that I don't have to fight it on my 2nd ascendancy run. If I get it it's almost always game over. In endgame when you can have overpowered builds and kill it nearly instantly I regularly farm Trials of Chaos. But until my damage isn't high enough for that I avoid this content.

I don't think they care at this point. We've been saying this for 4 full leagues.
Completely reasonable boss for level 35, of course. |

The boss is even worse in Maps.
Currently it spins into the tornado form, and the tornado animation never stops. So you can't tell when it's back to doing it's other moves that you can only reasonably dodge if you are nearer to it. Of course you don't know if it's safe to go near to it because the tornado animation stays up the whole time. This boss is thematically great, but the mechanics are just broken. |

Yeah, it's disgustingly broken but it's fockin great feeling when it's finally dead!
