can't use command skills while using lord of the wilds

I specced into lord of the wilds keystone and tried a minion command skill only to have all my minions despawn then respawn as my character flickers between human form and beast form.

Can confirm, having the same problem. Lord of the Wilds active with sceptre equipped, 4 Skeletal Warriors and 1 Storm Mage. When the Warriors die, pressing the command button just resurrects them instead of casting the lightning.
