Vaal Temple Catalyst of Corruption room not completing

I killed all enemies in the room but it will not complete. I am playing druid wyvern with devour, I have noticed devour breaking some events like unique strongboxes. I can portal out and come back to the doors open but walk in and the doors close and am stuck again so the temple cannot be finished.
