Abyss in boss arenas???

Is this intentional or a bug? Just failed my t15 corrupted nexus because a abyss hole opened when i killed the map boss then I died to the abyss rares and the eater of flesh.

I've seen one so far and there was ZERO sign it would happen - no abyss on map in boss room, no abyssal cracks visible on ground.
The instant the boss dies !!!POOF!!! the abyss opens up completely unannounced and dumps a shitton of rares right on your freaking head, completely body blocking you and guaranteeing death. 0 Warning, way to prepare or counter. Like so many other things this league (cough temple cough) it's just really really poorly implemented and barely thought out. |
