Unable to use town portal function in game

As title says. I click the button on the overlay and nothing happens. I've tried removing skins and re-applying them. I've verified integrity of game files. Do I need to reinstall? I'll probably end up trying that while I wait response.

Please note that if I spam the button I get kicked from the server for doing to many functions to quickly. But still get no portal to spawn.
