How do you read poedb boss data?

im trying to kill uber sirus and im convinced in order to kill him i need to just tank the meteor. But this has been easier said than done. I dont have any clue how close i am to being able to tank it, so i thought i would try using poedb to figure out exactly how much damage its doing. but its not adding up.
https://poedb.tw/us/Sirus%2C_Awakener_of_Worlds#SirusAwakenerofWorldsAtlasExile5 AwakenofWorldsAtlasExile5 is his boss tab, and at level 85 (uber sirus level) his three circle meteor at max does Deals 21722 to 32583 Physical Damage, with 3/4ths of it being converted evenly between fire, lightning, and chaos. but that cant be right, because at those numbers i should be able to tank this easily without anything more than endurance charges. I know these are raw numbers and dont take into account buffs, but far as i can tell uber sirus doesent have a buff anywhere that increases damage. How do i read this page to determine the actual damnage meteor does? Because theres no way its only 32.5k damage. Last bumped on Dec 15, 2025, 4:16:34 PM

" 1. PoB supposedly has numbers for various boss abilities. I dont know much about this though. 2. In general poedb seems to be accurate at least for boss Spell abilities. But you need to multiply the numbers shown with the correct multiplier. Unfortunately I dont know it. My best guess is that its around 2x in this case. Which would make it ~55k on average. 3. For tanking it on a non-tank build Spell Suppression, Deli Ascendancy, manual Guard skill use would likely be good relatively cheap options. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

Ok, so, in the boss’s information there’s a table with some information on it, one of those pieces of information is “damage” and next it it a percentage. The table reads “damage 150%”. Is that the multiplier you’re talking about? And if so, does that mean everything does 50% more damage than what will be listed on the skills?

"Far as I remember from testing at least typically for map bosses the correct multiplier is *1.7(unique)*1.15(*). Whether this was ever correct and/or is still correct and/or applies to Uber Sirus I dont know. (*) Im using *1.15 but I dont know how much exactly, may be dependent on tier or boss. IMO/IME randomly guessing like what you seem to be doing is wasting your time. Either get a reliable source for how to interpret these numbers or figure it out with your own testing. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!
