Very long load times

Hello, I was redirected here from a support email.

I have been enjoying the most recent PoE 2 patch, but the load times are killing me. I have sat at a load screen for in excess of 2 minutes. It is really random; sometimes it is a normal amount. I don't want to portal to town because I fear I will just sit for minutes at a time.

I have a decent gaming pc, it really shouldn't be an issue. I have looked at internet solutions and have had no luck so far. Any suggestions?

windows 11 home
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor 4.18 GHz
32.0 GB ram
nvidia 3070 ti with 8gb
running on an m2 ssd drive

i'm having the same issue

I switched from direct x 11 to 12 and it helped the loading times.

i'm going to try switching to directx12 and updating my gpu driver, see if that does anything

that didn't seem to help. if anything the game runs slower now.

Has anyone found a solution? My fathers pc is running awefully slow when going to town. Instances sometimes slow, but fine most of the times.
