Game soft locked in act 4

I beat Tavakai in Act 4 to have the NPC's be invisible and am now unable to progress the game. Tried respawning at check point, relogging, rechecking achievements all with no change. Reached out to support to be told they can't look into it in detail.

Update for the technical support team. If you kill tavakai in the top left of the arena near the alter it soft locks your game where you can't heal makoru.
