Death on main boss in corrupted nexus cleanses area but not rewarded points

I just died killing the monkey boss in a corrupted nexus Rupture with poison. The DOT killed the boss basically the same time I died.

I saw the animation for corrupted boss spawn then a area cleansed message. There was no loot on respawn and thus no atlas points.

The fight is not retriable and the area is cleansed. If I have respawns in map I should not lose the boss loot when I die especially not quest items.

And now you can no longer progress the atlas points quest either. I've been stuck at complete a tier 3+ waystone since day 1 of the league and they still haven't fixed it or even acknowledged it! I've fallen so far behind the economy because I'm missing 25 atlas points!

same thing happened to me earlier. Are we screwed?

Looks like it. This is absolutely pathetic. We're on day 5 now and a game breaking bug hasn't been fixed. All the while they're fixing other minor bugs. At this point I'm quitting this terrible game.
