kicked out of vaal temple for stashing loot (rage quit this league)

i even googled it first, and confirmed that you can leave the vaal temple, stash your loot, they even said you can go to town, and then reenter the temple. i guess i hit an edge case, bc i unlocked both the architect room and the final boss room at the same time. i completed the architect, got a bunch of nice temple upgrades, and had a completely full inventory, so i left to throw everything in the stash real quick. tried to reenter but the portal was completely closed. i guess it was the architect upgrades bc when i clicked the console the whole temple fell apart. all that time spent pathing to the final boss and it was all gone. literally rage quit the league at that moment. didn't even get to try druid bc it felt bad early on so i was gonna twink it, but i guess that'll have to wait til next league.

edit: i just checked and the architect room doesn't say anything about resetting the whole temple when you mouse over the tile. i think that would be something worth mentioning, maybe in big red letters hm?

edit2: also should add, as the temple got bigger, every time i'd open the temple in maps, i'd roll my eyes like great another timesink. i really like the mechanic on the surface in maps, but inside the temple is poorly designed.

It says that when you kill the architect, it will "destabilize" a big chunk of your current setup.
You can't reenter the vaal temple?
Maybe last patch made it so, because you were able to go out and stash things.
Yeah this entire league mechanic seems cool in concept, but it's implementation has been abysmal across the board.

I think it's certainly possible to turn the foundation of it (a player made/customized map that you build on top of each run) into something cool.

But this current implementation ain't it.

Nothing is explained (I have yet to see a definitive guide ANYWHERE ON THE ENTIRE INTERNET) explaining how room connections actually work.

And reward isn't worth how much a PITA it is to run beyond the first 1-2 runs.
They patched it out....so now you better have what you need when you go in or why bother.

i definitely agree the foundation has potential, and even more definitely agree that a bit of explanation is needed. DarthMicrotransaction bricked his temple bc he wasn't sure if putting a room next to the final boss would create a passage or not, since it does that sometimes. only reason i didn't brick mine the same way was bc i heard about that, but ofc that turned out not to matter anyway
