Cannot complete "The Search" due to NPC weird spawn

Cannot complete "The Search" after Act 4 final boss - Sin/Hooded One is too far from Makoru and cannot cure her. He performs the animation for this action if I re-enter the area but he stays where he is (next to Tavakai on upper-left of arena) and nothing results from it, no quest progression or dialogue continuation.
