Wolf Pack spirit gem not re-summoning minions after they die

It says that it summons 4 wolves, but sometimes when they die they don't come back to life for some reason, i need to manually deactivate and activate the spirit gem again in order to make them reappear.

I do have more than enough spirit.
I'm not using different weapon sets that could cause the skill to deactivate.

I'm using the Wolf Pack spirit gem together with Pounce & the Predator's Mark.
