Temple of Vaal question

Is there a way where we can store more than one run of the temple before doing it? As I would like to map for a bit (more than 12 maps) then go and run some vaal temples.

not sure what happen. half way running the temple then cant use portal, need to RUN all the way back to entrance. Worst is half way running temple cant back to town. Once back to town the run consider over!!!!!!!
