Cant complete a temple room due to set piece monster being "alive"

If you kill the Vaal in a temple before they kill the Scorpion they're fighting, the room can't complete. I'm able to tp out, but i can also freely re-enter the room as if it hasn't been complete and get locked inside each time. Monster probably needs to be omitted from room completion list or something.
