help with my bleed merc build

i am playinlg bleed merc build that i made and i am hard stuck in act 3 on hardcore and i think i am doing something wrong. https://pobb.in/qzhAzFMHLGSs that the pob link of the character

In poe 2 right now the best way to apply bleed (and maybe other ailment as well but i'm not sure) is by hitting enemies hard, scaling bleed magnitude without having a good base damage is basically useless

Think as bleed as a secondary thing, focus on stacking attack/projectile damage and the bleed will be just as good if not better, plus your base damage will be higher

Take the nodes near the starting area where it increases damage with 2 handed weapon, always aim for the notables when possible, which are the ones that have bigger stats for example Overwhelm (+40% increased damage with 2H weapons)

Don't take the "increased attack damage against rares", take the more generic ones for now, these are for more specific builds since it's near to increased culling strike threshold nodes

Other than that, it comes down to the skills, support gems and items you're using and if they're synergizing with each other

Last league i played a tactician with Amour Piercing Rounds, increased effect of armour break + bleed & poison + chain (on the weapon) and it was perfect

From looking at your tree, you are too deep into the tree for level 41. I would respec into Overwhelm, Feel No Pain, Battle-hardened, the 3 attack speed nodes at the beginning of the tree. Blurred Motion, Backup Plan

Giant Slayer is great, but it isn't needed till later.
