Persisdent Patch Update Login Error

I’ve been running into this issue repeatedly today. The first time, it suddenly let me update for no reason, but now I can’t update the game at all—whether I restart the game or my entire PC, the error in the screenshot keeps popping up.

I’d really appreciate it if anyone could offer some advice or solutions to fix this update issue. Thank you so much for your help!

I log in via the offical launcher.

Try repairing the game client; it may have become corrupted.

You say you use the standalone client; your install folder should have a Pack Check program. If this application is not able to resolve the issue for you, realistically you're looking at a reinstall.
