Brambleslam + Poison Spore

I have come to understand that Poison Pustule only works when wielding an attack weapon. It seems like this only works with weapons as the Brambleslam effects can only cause this to occur if using a slam in human form.

Test done:
*Poison Spores on spell with wand/staff => no pustule
*Poison Spores on spell with mace (martial weapon) => pustules
*Poison Spores on brambleslam on shapeshifted slams => no pustule
*Poison Spores on brambleslam with rolling slam => pustules
*Poison Spores on spell unarmed => pustules

Based on the above tests it seems like the interaction is meant to only work when there is an attack damage value available for use in the current weapon set. It does not require a specific weapon type.
This as expected considering the attack tag.

Considering this, it should also be able to support brambleslam. Based on the tests, it does support this support skill. However due to some factor of either talismans or shapeshifting it does not work with shapeshift slam skills.

Accelerated growth does work with brambleslam while in shapeshifted form or with martial weapons despite having the spell tag.
