As of 0.4 Parry still feels terrible - needs rework


let me just say that the whole parry mechanic is clunky and unrewarding.

For now it seems only to be useful for generating frenzy charges with disengage, but even in that if fails miserably because if you take more than 1 hit from a group of mobs you get heavy stunned and die, like holly shit i need to take a death risk just to get charges??

Id suggest having more ways to generate frenzy charges consistently on the huntress since spears want to consume frenzy charges.

there are currently maybe 2 "easy" methods of geenrating them, the sniper's mark which gives you 1, maybe 2 per use, on a cooldown and you need to crit to get it. Or use parry+disengage, clunky needs to mobs to hit you to riposte and there's a high chance of being stunned and dying. Both of tese feel jank its better to play spears on deadeye because of auto-mark.

Also parry just needs a full on rewrok, these buffs were completly placebo.

Also it can be socketed with frenzied riposte, but the skill gem doesnt do anything on parry.

Tbh it'd be much better if parry was a passive mechanic that maybe marked enemies that you blocked the hits of instead of this active jank move.

Thats just my two cents but i also dont see many people using/liking parry
