CPU 100% usage since last patch.

Before I try a clean reinstall of the game.
Anybody had the same issue after latest patch? I was doing fine on day1 of 0.4 but now i have a lot of stuttering. my CPU is i7 8700k. I searched for solutions and tried. - sound channel count settings to Low. - move ingame global and trade chats to a less populated one, also disabled both just in case. - deleted the shader folder in %appdata%/poe2 - im using DX12 - resolution is 1080p. The issue right now are little stutters every 5seconds or so, it's still playable but very annoying. Last bumped on Dec 18, 2025, 2:23:58 PM

" Stuttering, insanely long loading screens, freezes, crashes etc etc etc. List over things making this league the worst is starting to get LONG. Even the league mechanic is shit. |

The league (temple) might get buffed, not always happens but sometimes they do.
But my problem is, idk what they changed but performance feels really bad right now for me. my CPU doesn't want to have anything to do with PoE2 right now... |

After trying multiple things. it seems to be a bit better now. playable at least.
- Validated files on steam. - channel audio settings to low. - lowest graphics. - moved to non-crowded trade/global channels and disabled them. - changed priority on task manager to high. - swapped from DX12 to Vulkan At least now i don't have stuttering every 5 seconds, so playable for now. |
