Re-Enter Vaal Temple from Vaal Ruins

This happened to me twice,
the last two times I was in the league Vaal Temple instance.
(Act 2 & 3)

I left to access the stash (Vaal Ruins) and re-entered the Temple.
It worked... until it didn't.

Missed out on crafting the good stuff both times.

This last time, it seems I just leveled before I left.


p.s. Why does it ask it I'm sure I want to leave?! Is this the problem??
Am I doing something wrong and screwing myself?
Is there a time or re-entry limit? If so, it needs to be stated.
