What are you guys thinking?

Let's start off with my good feedback - I think the Druid is incredible. I love the Primal skills and how well they can work together (I ran a multi-form build through the campaign). I think the ascendancies are interesting and I've been having a blast so far with this class, far more enjoyable than any other class I've played.
I generally enjoy the "intended" direction of the game. I like that support gems customize the skill a bit rather than give general bonuses. I like that I have to think about which to use. I like moving away from single button zoom zoom builds, though I don't think the game is doing this particularly well yet. I am hopeful. I am trying so hard to like this patch. For most of it, I have had severe texture loading issues in dx12 after some of the prepatching the week before the release 0.4.0. I switched to Vulkan to fix some of it, but Vulkan performs much worse on my system and now I'm getting around 10-15 fps regularly in maps. Even so, I have encountered maps where Vulkan was causing some bug forcing a log out, so I had to switch back to dx12 and play the game without textures. I can't see item images, and the game looks like oatmeal. Even so, I made it through the campaign, dealing with frequent crashes, meandering zones with dead ends everywhere, and a buggy league mechanic because the druid was so much fun. I had a ton of empty sockets on my gear because the temple gave me so many sockets, but perplexingly there are still barely any runes dropping in the game. Would this be overpowered? You could double the drops of campaign runes and everything would still be fine. You could double uncut gem drops and everything would be fine. People could play with skills as they level up and you wouldn't be screwed because you used your spirit gem to try a new skill or you cut a support gem that (shockingly) doesn't behave like you expected it to. I simply don't understand the stinginess, particularly when you're releasing new classes and attempting to attract new players, who perhaps don't know the game encyclopedically and don't know not to take, for example, parry skills (because if you guys haven't figured this out by now, they are awful and no one uses them). And now I'm sitting here, fuming because I lost an entire map because the boss for it was Bahlak, The Sky Seer. This bird created its kill-you-in-one-second tornado, which I dodged out of, and the tornado never despawned. The boss reappeared in it and began launching attacks at me. Being now a melee bear, I can't do anything against it because the tornado will not despawn. This happened twice in a row and now I lost my highest tier waystone and there is now a completely unfun, unenhanceable, empty node in the map. My only mistake in this case appears to be playing your game, and you punish me for it. What on earth are you guys doing? I want to like this game, but the buggy releases and the thirst for punishing players is unbelievable. I refuse to buy cosmetics because the "thinkers" behind this game just seem intent on punishing me with boredom. The game already looks terrible for me because of the visual bugs, but now I'm dealing with buggy bosses as well? It turns out too that this boss has been bugged since last release. But I guess let's keep punishing players with no drops, one-shot cheese, and empty maps? Last bumped on Dec 18, 2025, 12:40:23 AM
