Elemental Damage from "Tornado" skill does not generate glory for Shaman's "Apocalypse"

Description for apocalypse states that glory is generated by dealing elemental damage. However, elemental damage dealt by tornado's effect of sucking up elemental ground effects does not contribute to the glory build up. At first I figured it needed the 'elemental' tag or something then realized that wasn't a tag for my ice nova skill which generated glory just fine. I assume that was the intended effect unless I'm missing something, which wouldn't be uncommon for me.
