increase storage usage in Path of Exile 2.

I want to report a very frustrating issue related to SSD storage usage in Path of Exile 2.
Every time I launch the game and play for a while, the game keeps consuming more and more disk space on my SSD. This increase is gradual but constant, and it never seems to stop. The last time this happened, the total disk usage reached around 180–190 GB, which is far beyond the official game size shown on Steam (~124 GB). The most frustrating part is that: There is no clear or accessible temp/cache folder to clean Verifying game files does not fix it Reinstalling the game does not permanently solve the issue The space just keeps getting consumed again after playing This is extremely stressful and honestly makes the game very difficult to keep installed on an SSD with limited space. Other players do seem to have this problem, so it feels like something is going wrong on certain systems, possibly related to cache, shader compilation, or temp data that never gets cleaned up. What are we supposed to do in this situation? Is this a known issue? Is there any official way to prevent this endless disk usage growth? Are there specific folders we can safely delete? Or is this a bug that still needs to be addressed? Right now, it feels like there is no solution or workaround, and that is very discouraging. I would really appreciate an official response or clarification Last bumped on Dec 18, 2025, 9:17:14 AM
