Talisman combined with sceptre ignores all scepter stats

If you have the special node ‘ where you can equip both a Talisman and a sceptre…the sceptre modifiers are completely ignored. I had a sceptre that has modifiers : + 25 strenght and + 24 intelligence … but it doesnt add anything at all.
