Cliffside Map - Instantly Died Due to Abyss & Checkpoint Conflict

As you can see, and hear from my anger in this clip, I died, spawned in on my checkpoint and the checkpoint/abyss hole are so close to each other I spawn inside the hole and therefore am unable to move because I am considered in "impassable terrain." So... GG. You can even see I'm trying to run and it just won't go anywhere.
