Crazy mad - anyone else?

I play a lot of POE1. I noticed while playing a new POE2 league - I get mad. Than I also noticed how toxic chat is, its the same chat group from POE1 and we are always chill and cracking jokes. Anyone else notice this?

At this point, I am hesitant to log into the game. I want to play and keep theory crafting a better plant caster or finish off my bear-wolf-dragon (really love the shapeshifting skills). Creating a new character sounds too painful.. All ARPGs I play. I love to make new characters, play a new build and blast.. who doesn't? I know a few guys are one build and done and thats cool. Not me. Not most streamers.

Maybe tone down the acts, or grant a whole lot more XP per zone. Ill get to act 4 no prob really. Its just too long.

Also can we get at least 1 clear skill that does not require combos to clear with for every weapons set? I get tired of constantly 3 button smashing while running up hill in the snow with no boots on... thats how it feels. A bit sloggie.

This game isnt fun. Hardly anything about the game actually has fun systems of which there a few glimmers of hope.

Most players are playing for the hope that itll improve because loyalty to GGG or are bored of the current state of other games. And this league is absurdly trash, untested garbage. Albeit fixable.

Obviously that will result in a very upset playerbase. Which is also deserved. You promise a solid league after apologizing for keepers of the flame and the druid/tota not releasing in 0.3 along with endgame. Then more delays just to have this as the result. Keep in mind the actual full 1.0 release of the game was supposed to be this month rofl. At this rate we wont see full 1.0 until 2027.

I do enjoy the first play through if my character has power to clear it. The game has definitely improved from last patch.

But they are getting a bit more dim with each of these updates. 0.3 Rise of the Abyssal was a nice jolt of electricity but its gone now.

Unfortunately, yes. There are many different issues that create unfun and exhausting friction. I call games like that Abuse Gaming. POE2 is still too far on the Abuse Gaming side for my tastes. My GGG/POE1 fandom keeps me trying, but it's so annoying and glitchy and feels designed to be irritating and abusive of the player. It's a weird vibe. All I can conclude is that they think they will have two separate fan bases with 1 and 2. I think they are building something that won't be successful in the seasons environment, long term, AND doing irreparable damage to POE1 in the process. /shrug
