Sound causing lag and crashes

When I open a chest, ritual, or when monsters spawn on top me of the sound goes in and out and lag hits hard. sometimes the screen will bring up the wheel of pain screen and after 30 seconds to a minute it goes back to what I was doing. Sometimes it does kick me out to log in screen.

Have tried with headsets and sound glitch still happens.

Master volume is med setting
Sound effects med setting
