Things that are annoying for me in POE2

1. Getting bodied to death. Shittiest feeling ever, and it’s the same on level 1 and level 100 because there’s really no solution for it—no phasing, blink, nothing. You can’t roll out or do anything that actually helps you avoid getting surrounded. You either have to play slow and off-screen mobs, or try to play efficiently (as you should, because the game has a live economy). But then you will eventually get bodied and pecked to death and lose the map on top of that. And this leads to the next point.

2. Cost of a mistake is too high. Zero revives per map is too rough. Players naturally want to get better and play more efficiently, and the most efficient way to play is to run 6+ mod maps with zero revives. Otherwise, you fall behind and will never see the items you want.

3. Layouts are garbage. Labyrinths of human intestines. Narrow, two-mob-wide tunnels where you just get bodied. It’s fine to have layouts like that, but at least give players some control over which layouts they’re running. Getting cooked in a tunnel is not a great time.

4. This might be minor, but it’s really annoying to me: the Shroud Walker “buff.” I wish it was just removed. It’s fine to play against it, but when you steal it with HH and start teleporting all over the place, it’s one of the most unpleasant experiences for me. I don’t think anyone would complain if it just disappeared one day—personally, I’d be happy.

Those are the core things that make me mad, and from what I’ve noticed on the forums, others are unhappy about some of them too. I want this game to succeed—I see great potential. Every other point wouldn’t be nearly as annoying if not for point 2.
The fewer annoying things there are, the smoother the game plays and the happier the playerbase is. Peace!
