How Come the Game Doesn't Give Proper Damage Info/Tags for Supports that Deal Damage

Hey GGG!

I LOVE the support gems like Decaying Hex or Minion Instability. I used them all the time in Path 1, and of course am doing the same with Path 2.

Why are those 'skills', supports that deal damage, not 'supported' in any skills screen? There's nowhere in-game that shows the user what the supports' damage tags are, or how much damage they deal.

Damage-dealing supports have tags for how they can link to a skill, but they don't have any tags or info for the actual use/reason for the support. There's no damage tag (like command skills for minions) or anything of the sort. No DPS listed in Adv. Skill Info....nothing.

On top of that, when a user is adding a support gem to support the support gem, there's no information telling the user what the second support gem supports. Hahaha. K, as an example, let's say I have Minion Instability linked to Skeletal Warriors. The Fire Pen. Support will be able to be selected and linked to skeletal warriors. But, that support only helps Minion Instability and not the Skeletal Warriors' default attack. There's nothing in the game that lets the user know this.

Now, in this example, the fact that Fire Pen doesn't work with the minion's default attack is likely obvious, but this game can get quite tricky, and there are always going to be many supports that users would like to 'be sure' about.

So, there you go.

Later!
