Map boss difficulty vs reward

The map bosses are often way too difficult given they dont drop ANYTHING good other than waystones... This is out of control, I can clear the map mobs with extreme ease, then when i get to the map boss 50% of the time i am getting one shot by a mechanic i dont see coming given all the clutter on the screen. The other 50% of the time that map boss does die, i dont end up picking up anything it drops other than waystones.

Boss Difficulty atlas node really do nothing but make some bosses far more annoying than it's tolerable. There are no noticeable reward increase between max difficulty boss and 0 difficulty boss, since it's just ZERO being multiplied by increased drop rates and result in ZERO.
Depending on what you play the bosses can be either too difficult or too easy. Not sure what is the correct way to balance it. I played dog tier self-crafted build in 0.1.0 and they were hard. Now I'm playing a better self-crafted build in 0.4.0 and they are almost too easy, barely able to do their first mechanic.

However I do feel like the map boss rewards have always been very underwhelming. Even when they added Tier gear drops it is just meh as it is usually garbage or worse gear than what you have crafted/slammed already yourself.

I'd like it if they upped the rewards for the boss, since it doesn't feel correct to me that the Rare monsters are more rewarding to fight than the map boss.

This is the issue, i dont have a problem with difficult boss fight IF there is some reward at the end of it. Currently the "reward" is just extra junk!!!

They are difficult because they were tunned against hyper performing builds, which leaves anyone non meta at a disadvantage... But that isnt bad at all., it gives a good insight into the mechanics and prepares players for later stages.

The loot is true, most drops are trash :)

yeah, they are really difficult on my melee char, then i log on my ranger and just insta blast them all while out ranging their abilities. This game is either piss easy or a living hell.
