Path of Exile is crashing my entire computer.

I’ve been having a consistent issue with both POE1 & POE2 where during certain moments, my entire computer will suddenly turn off during high load; however, Path of Exile is the only game where this occurs to me as I do play other demanding games. This has happened to me at seemingly mundane parts of the games, additionally at times that seem the most frustrating like the last room of an ascendancy, so I’d like to figure out what’s going on, as it’s putting a real dampener on my time in the game.

I’ve tried finicking around with swapping between DX11, Vulcan, DX12, updating drivers, reinstalling game, verifying files, etc., but to no avail.

The first thing to test for is overheating - as if this is the issue, it could cause permanent physical damage to components. Download, install, and run the free version of HWMonitor so that it's in the background as you play and can record the highest temperature for a few components. After playing for a while - ideally, about as long as you think you can get away with prior to a shut down - and post screenshots clearly showing the temperatures for your CPU & video card.
