There needs to be options to just hide ally spell/particles in general, in multiplayer it's so unbelievably bad and even solo it gets terrible. It's wild that they expect you to see puddles and other effects that can kill you through all that.

Visibility in this game is genuinely bad.
Over designed vfxs with too much blur applied to (usually), that blocks the view of ground effects and enemies, and skills that you can't tell if they're ours or if they're coming from the enemies I thought that i wanted meaningful combat for poe 2 but if ggg can't figure this kind of thing out then i genuinely think it's better to degenerate the combat of poe 2 to 1 buttons builds Adding friction (dodge roll, slower movement speed/attack speed, skill combos) without giving players proper visual feedback isn't going to work My suggestions: Start with the UI, the one used for couch coop is a good start, it only blocks 1 side of the screen instead of what we have now with the m&k UI Implement a lootfilter similar to poe2filter to the base game and just make all dropped currency stack by default Completely remove the blur applied to most skills or reduce them in 70% or so (optional setting for people who may prefer it) Rework the visuals from most skills from the ground up, try making them smaller or something like that Easier way to identify if a skill is friendly or not Last edited by Vyend#2601 on Dec 18, 2025, 3:39:36 PM
