"While shapeshifted" nodes still don't apply in set 2

Put a talisman in weapon set 1 and lock it to set 2.
Put Walking calamity in weapons set 2.
Take a node that says "10% increased damage while shapeshifted"
Walking calamity has more damage from the node in weapon set 1, but gains nothing in wepaon set 2.
