Killed Architect a Medallion drops but nothing changes post patch?

I assumed killing the Architect would expand the amound of crystals stored from 6 to 12? and Alva says lets see what we can do at the console. Nothing changes except the temple resets deleting rooms.

What is supposed to happen here? Killed at lvl 75

Answered my own question. Go back to the console. The Medallions are listed on the right hand side of the temple interface. Use your controller to highlight it then interact it will expand.


GGG very confusing, if Alva says something you assume its a quest. Why not just a pickup item that you use. Anyways very confusing.

This doesn't even work for me. I have killed the architect twice now. The "quest" marker is over the console but when I interact with it I can select a medallion but it won't let me place it anywhere. The cursor only goes over tiles that already have something so WTH is the point of this?
