Please stop spawning us on checkpoints we did not reach yet

For the love of god, please stick with your system. You are supposed to spawn at a checkpoint you already activated, not in a checkpoint miles away in the middle of mobs.
Yes, I am squishy but that is my choice and I adapt my playstyle accordingly. Spawning in the middle of countless monsters is certain death, exp loss, portal loss and simply frustrating as hell. It is hard enough to deal with the scarcity of loot given I can't run super juiced, 0-portal, 3 tablet, t16, 8 mod corrupted waystones. And I don't even talk about missing "tinks" from divines, omen of light etc. I talk about regular exalts to patiently farm up my way to buy gear, given that the crafting is to freaking expensive and time consuming due to the little drops I get to experience that system myself :) Losing the precious experience that is also very little if I don't push high enough waystones to a "feature" that can't be intended is the cherry on top. Excuse the saltiness of my feedback, I still play the game cause I want it to turn out good and there is potential. For some reason tho, it seems that as of now basic features like checkpoints, aiming at targets with a bow, random one shots that were criticised since 0.1 are still issues that could not be fixed, so I understand that adjusting the loot for players that do not play meta builds, oneshot full screens or just lack the skill is still not a focus topic :) Keep up the work tho and let's just all hope for a brighter future ;) Last bumped on Dec 18, 2025, 7:09:59 PM
