The grand quest bug

I started my character in solo mode, the quest was just fine, I got points, quest moving on; However, after I transfer my character to multiplayer league, the quest renewed and made me do it twice. THis time it's bugged, I can't talk to Danning and finish the quest, I dont get any expedition points, even though there are already four guys(rog, gwennen, tujen, and dannig) in my hideout.
Is it something I did wrong? how to solve this issue?

I think you have to find him again in expedition encounters in endgame maps.

I don't see him in any expedition encounters, the one on the island doesn't talk to me either. I can only talk to him in my hideout, but quest doesn't progress.

The quest is still bugged, somebody please take a look.

Problem solved. I just lvl an ult, travel to my hideout, and the npc gives me the reward. This is definitely a bug, please fix it so nobody else could have this terrible experience again.
