Spirit bank/gems not working

The game was working fine after the new patch, but after a couple of maps I noticed I was suddenly having mana problems and my damage seemed to just fall off way too sharply.
I am running Arctic Amour and Mana Remnants, both with Clarity; I have a bank of 146 spirit...both are toggled on but it still shows I have all my spirit available. And I've noticed that I'm not getting any Mana Remnants which would account for my sudden Mana problem. Edit: I also noticed that my Arctic Amour is not showing/working. I've closed the game multiple times and it's still an issue. In fact, my character is bricked and not playable at the moment.
Side notes -1. on one of my restarts, I faced a boss and right off my damage was something like 660789, and it never really changed. There seem to be several bugs at work here.
2. My character isn't 'holding' her staff, it's on her back. Not sure if that's just a cosmetic bug.
